Job Description:

• Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitries and in product and prototypes
• Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of products including hand soldered circuit board assemblies using written instructions, blue print specifications, and industry standards.
• Work with Engineers on new circuit designs
• Redline prints to reflect changes
• Work directly with Engineering to implement, modify and evaluate design modifications.

Essential Skills:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of ESD practices
• Minimum 2 years hands-on electronic assembly experience
• Ability to identify electronic components
• Prior experience soldering through-hole and SMT components
• Proficiency in cutting, stripping, tinning, and crimping cable and harness
• Knowledge in circuit boards, soldering and electronics
• Ability to read and work from electrical prints.
• Experience working in a Research and Development environment
• Established communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Organizational skills

Non-Essential Skills:

• Electronic schooling or Mil spec soldering training or certifications
• Computer Skills.
• Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot AC/DC circuits helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel.
