Job Description:

• Fabricate cable and harness assemblies
• Solder through-hole and surface-mount electronic components.
• Assemble and rework Chassis, Cables, and Harnesses
• Populating and soldering PCB’s.
• Provide assistance with building electronic and mechanical prototypes and test fixtures. 
• Will work from schematics and engineering documentation.
• Final assembly and packaging
• Testing and inspection
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Essential Skills:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years exp in through-hole and SMT assembly and rework
• Skilled in soldering, crimping and the use of power tools
• Ability to identify components
• Knowledge in circuit boards, soldering and electronics
• Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
• Mechanical aptitude
• Organizational skills
• Self motivated
• Ability to work as a team player and independently
• Some lifting, up to 50 lbs, may be required

 

Non-Essential Skills:

• SMT Soldering Certification
• Formal training or schooling in Electronics
• Understanding of ESD practices
• Computer Skills.
• Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot AC/DC circuits helpful.
• Experience working in a Research and Development environment
• Liaison experience with vendors, engineers, and customers.
